GSK is searching for a Business Finance Partner Manager role for Spain, an excellent opportunity to explore.

They are looking for a strategic thinker who takes a proactive and protagonist approach in driving the business agenda and in solving business questions by being an effective partner to the business and a catalyst of performance and ambition.

As a Finance Partner & Manager you will lead finance partnering at management level within the Spain business, driving the strategic business plan, supporting strategy and decision making with critical business insights.

Key responsibilities include supporting the Senior Finance Director, Iberia & Israel on the following:                                                  

  • Strategy, Business Planning & Performance Management
    • Full P&L understanding, management and accountability for respective BU (business performance and risk management)
    • Strategic portfolio analysis, market understanding, brand portfolio analysis and scenario planning
    • Work with the brand teams to build P&L forecasts incorporating CCC and ROI and managing BU performance
    • Lead monthly performance reviews and financial performance of key brands with respective BU leadership team
  • Core Commercial Cycle
    • Key partner throughout the DRM process, bringing insight and leading to data driven decision making, underpinned by market and customer understanding, including understanding of market growth, market share and other key performance factors
    • Holds accountability, along with BU Head, for respective Business Unit forecast, Risks and Opportunities management
  • Pricing Optimization and market dynamics
    • Partner across the business and with experts in our Market Access group to support pricing approval governance
    • Understand overall market dynamics, relative market positioning of products against competitors, market access situation and future trends; Provide recommendations for pricing decisions
  • Assess ROI
    • Lead investment modelling opportunities to support the business in making investment decisions when opportunities arise
    • Lead scenario planning to maximize use of resources based on ROI analysis
  • Margin & Cashflow Enhancement
    • Key player to deliver margin enhancement initiatives through innovative cost control; using internal and external benchmarking (where available) to understand best-in-class cost managementSupport the optimization of controllable SG&A cost

Requisitos de la oferta


Knowledge/ Education:

- Degree in Accounting, Economics or Business (or different degrees with Business or Finance qualification)

- Must have: MBA

- Requires solid finance and analytics background

- Combining a consulting and strategic knowledge with finance and business acumen is key for success in the role

- Job-Related Experience required, among others: 5+ years financial support experience, preferable with Pharmaceutical Industry experience.

Application of Knowledge:

  • The candidate should have an ROI technique knowledge and mindset orientation.
  • Ability to flexibly adapt financial modeling solutions to different issues/opportunities on price analysis to be managed.
  • Ability to understand different business drivers and to recommend the most efficient allocation of resources.
  • Ability to influence beyond formal authority levels.
  • Ability to influence decision making process across geographies.
  • Support impact on strategy and P&L and in 3 Yrs Plan.
