Jazz Pharmaceuticals Iberia precisa incorporar Director/a de Ventas y Marketing en Hematología Oncológica (Sales and Marketing Director, Haematology Oncology), responsable de España y Portugal.

We have a diverse portfolio of products and product candidates with a focus in the areas of sleep medicine and  haematology/oncology. In EU/RoW, Jazz Pharmaceuticals markets products for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, severe Veno-Occlusive Disease and high risk Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the BU Head for Hematology is responsible for the leadership and establishment of the Hematology Business Unit in Spain/Portugal. The successful candidate will be accountable for the flawless execution of the preparation, launch and eventual in market commercialization of Jazz hematology medicine products in Spain/Portugal.

The incumbent has responsibility for ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks including but not limited to, ABPI/local legislation and guidelines,  Farmaindustria, GCP and IFPMA regulations as well as Jazz Pharmaceuticals Policies and Healthcare compliance procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with the European launch team and drive product adoption within EMA-approved indications in line with local country requirements
  • Deploy a multi-pronged approach that engages key centers, thought leaders, patient societies/associations, and other stakeholders and influencers in Spain/Portugal
  • Responsible for implementation of the business strategy and aligning local strategy and tactics with the local market conditions, in line with overall Hematology strategy of the EU&RoW
  • In close collaboration with EUROW Hematology function, create, implement and deliver on brand goals including input into longer term brand projects within the country of responsibility
  • Identify, diagnose and address Spain/Portugal specific performance – course correcting where necessary
  • Contribute to and disseminate understanding of trends and best practice.
  • Monitor ongoing performance and stakeholder feedback in a robust fact-based business review process and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on the development of efficiencies and operational improvements, such as administration efficiency, cost control, revenue management, legal compliance and human resource management.
  • Manage resources (including budget) across the Business Unit
  • Responsible for P&L of the business unit
  • Effectively lead the business unit team and drive successful financial, operational and employee performance results to achieve stated goals for the assigned franchise
  • Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure efficient and effective operational and governance processes are in place for all functions operating in the country

Requisitos:

  • Proven leadership success including building high performing teams
  • Proven success in healthcare sales and marketing leadership roles across multiple distribution channels
  • Ability to function at both strategic and operational levels with a pragmatic hands on approach
  • Significant knowledge of Spain healthcare environment including pricing / access
  • Significant experience within a related therapeutic area (hospital specialised areas)
  • Proven success launching new products, market shaping and launch readiness activities
  • Ability to critically analyse complex data
  • Excellent  oral and written  communication  skills, including presentations  to large groups
  • Strong inter-personal relationship building skills/collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills to identify, understand and propose plans to address business issues and opportunities
  • Ability to set goals, prioritise activities, and establish/meet challenging timelines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to, negotiate and engage with a wide range of audiences;
  • Fluency in English

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Strong preference for a Science or Business Graduate. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Life Science preferred)
