La compañía Werfen precisa incorporar un/a Asesor/a de Comunicación para sus Empleados (Employee Communication Advisor), con base en Barcelona.

Under the supervision of the Director Corporate Image and Communication, the Employee Communication Advisor is responsible for supporting global communication strategies across multiple channels for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is unafraid to roll up his/her sleeves and get things done--with excellent writing skills. He/she will partner with various teams to produce effective, compelling content that reinforces Werfen’s brand and Values.

Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Have a flair for storytelling that simplifies corporate and technical complexity and makes employees strong brand ambassadors.
  • Write/edit and distribute regular communication and special publications (i.e. Annual Report/Review) in support of Werfen’s Values, goals and objectives.
  • Act as tone of voice subject matter expert, offering feedback and guidance on key communication.
  • Proofread and edit (redraft) content and English translations.
  • Ensure that internal communication effectively support Werfen’s Values, goals and objectives while adhering to branding guidelines.
  • Be a creative thinker to help us get critical messages out in a meaningful way to a smart, busy and discerning audience.
  • Partner with IT to ensure that employees understand and leverage the latest available technology and communication tools (e.g. Office 365 suite of Apps).
  • Partner with corporate function area leaders (QA/RA, Finance, Legal, etc.) to meet their communication needs.
  • Be a problem solver who is resourceful and able to remove roadblocks and navigate through challenges as they arise.
  • Assist in planning and execution of major corporate events (Annual General Managers Meeting).
  • Support in coordinating and monitoring communications between CIC and its stakeholder.
  • Keep communication schedules and planners up to date to ensure timely release of all communications.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective communication program.

Skills & Capabilities:

The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following core competencies:

  • Strong Project and Time Management skills with outstanding organizational and planning abilities; essential.
  • Strong attention to detail; essential.
  • Excellent writing skills, editing and proofreading as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
  • Ability to identify and capture complex information and translate it into engaging content and continually innovate ways of communicating with employees.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing strong communication campaigns; essential.
  • Speaking skills: Ability to give presentations to staff with a sensitivity to Werfen’s Mission and Values and an ability to relay them to employees,
  • Art direction and graphic design experience; highly desirable.
  • Event planning (≥ 100 people); highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of social media and emerging communication platforms.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will have following technical skills:

  • Office 365 Suite of products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Apps).Knowledge of layout/design and graphics. Knowledge of design software (i.e., Adobe suite) a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital and video means of communications; video editing highly desirable.

Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in communication strategy and execution, content creation, writing, or similar experience.
  • Additional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong Project and Time Management skills with outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
  • Language: English Fluent; Conversational Spanish desirable.

Travel requirements:

·       Up to 10% of time
